		<description>Oh, this makes me so happy! You are very welcome!  I don&#039;t read much of Stephen King&#039;s fiction, but I thought Different Seasons was great.  It&#039;s a collection of four stories/novellas, three of which were made into movies (Stand By Me, Shawshank Redemption, Apt. Pupil).  The Shining is also fantastic, but not a good choice if you&#039;re a horror wimp! ;)

Also, I&#039;ve *never* been able to get through The Elements of Style, but Karen Elizabeth Gordon has a HILARIOUS — yes! — series of grammar, spelling, vocab, etc books.  The most popular is The Deluxe Transitive Vampire:
