I am thrilled to announce that Rebecca Strauss at McIntosh & Otis is my literary agent! The past couple days have felt surreal. Almost four years ago, I got serious about writing a novel. That first book is in my desk drawer, but it was an invaluable teacher. I started writing my current novel a little over a year ago. I put my whole heart (and brains), every moment of free time and a ton of hope and determination into this book. And guess what? It paid off!
I did not get here alone. I could start rattling off names, but the list would get too long! So many people helped and supported me over the past year. Thank you. You know who you are:)
I plan to write a follow-up blog post on Friday that summarizes how I got here. I referenced these types of posts throughout my novel writing/agent searching process and found them very helpful and comforting. I hope that you’ll stop by often and join me as I step into this new exciting chapter!
