I’m a few steps behind you, but also working my way toward scary but awesome changes. I’m grateful we live in a time and culture where we have freedom to break out of what’s not working and head toward something different. That’s why I called my blog “Seamripper”, because I love do-overs!

Also, I hear you about staying away from the dream-squashers. I was surprised to find that some of my good friends were not supportive of my dream to become a writer and my first exploratory attempts to put it all together. Now, I keep that part of my life a little more guarded. Good luck with the revisions–I’m right there with you!
