Six Websites to Boost Your Spirit and Biz

by Corinne on May 1, 2010

I’ve notice friends and family members buzzing about entrepreneurship and voicing an interest in “following their bliss” more each day. Here is a list of websites I’ve recently discovered that are worth checking out for a daily dose of inspiration, innovation and tips on how to make it in this increasingly web-based world. If you’re trying to build a platform as anything from an author to an interior designer, I think these people have a lot to offer. I’ve already started integrating their tips and tools into my everyday life (on and off-line):

1. Danielle LaPorte (Whitehot Truth): A spiritual entrepreneur sorceress. She helps you see that anything is possible if you’re willing to put in the work and you’ve got the passion…

2. Marie Forleo: A fiesty coach/online entrepreneur. Her videos are down to earth and her straight forward tips can be applied to your website, business, or seedling of an idea to launch them toward success.

3. Naomi Dunford (Ittybiz): A tell-it-like-it-is small business guru. She’ll even get you started with a free online marketing e-course, specific to your field.

4. Chris Brogan: A social media mogul. I couldn’t stop clicking on the lists of tips on his website. I stayed up until 2AM reading through posts and optimizing my website/blog. I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface!

Inspirational Gals:

On another note, these ladies have been inspiring my creative spirit lately. I highly recommend checking out their blogs (great photography, too!):

1. Liz Owen (Mabel’s House)

2. Nikki Hardin (Fridaville)

ps- Visited the Waverly farmer’s market this morning with the hubs. Best falafel in town! Enjoyed a Mint Rosemary Sage Iced Mate, too:)

So glad you stopped by the blog, Sam! Waverly’s Market is the best! Make sure to stop at the vegan bake stand next door to the falafel:) Maybe I’ll see you there!
