My stomach turned. I teared up. I couldn’t stop turning the pages. This is why I write. It’s the experience of being an intoxicated reader that makes me want to create stories that bring the same joy to others. There’s nothing like a good book and Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins was a damn good book.
I know that I am among millions who love True Blood, but seriously, could this show please be on tv year round? It makes Sundays seem wonderful rather than gray. Season finale in two weeks. Say it ain’t so. Here’s a recap of the most recent episode:
PS- Over the weekend I went to Rochester, NY to throw a graduation party for my long-time (BFFs since 1st grade) friend, Sue. I got so choked up during the toast that I could barely say thank you to the wonderful guests and everyone who chipped in to make the day special. Bonne chance on this next chapter, Sue! I heart you. I’ve heard so much about Mockingjay, I think I need to look into this
