Short post tonight, trying to get a decent night of sleep! I’m so jumpy lately that I’m having a terrible time falling asleep at night.
Things I enjoyed today…
1. The “Follow Your Bliss” collage that one of my favorite people left on my desk to enjoy. I realized today that Joseph Campbell’s documentary, The Hero’s Journey was sitting in front of it. Coincidence or a nice little reminder from the universe? I like to think the latter.
2. The torrential thunder and lightening storms that kept up all day and are just dwindling now. There is something exciting about a good storm. I’ve also always loved the excuse that rain gives me to stay inside glued to my keyboard.
3. Vegan Strawberry Shortcake at Garden Cafe. I sat by myself at the counter, enjoyed the most phenomenal shortcake I’ve ever had, and caught up on my Google Reader. Heaven. Too bad I didn’t think to take the picture until it was gone.
4. I’ve almost finished the latest Sookie Stackhouse book and I’ve enjoyed every minute. Just in time to start something new on the car ride back to Baltimore Friday night. What to read (listen to)…suggestions?
5. I took the Jung /Myers-Briggs typology test after reading this post at the Deb’s blog. Four years ago I was an INTJ, now I’m an ISFJ. I don’t know how I feel about this yet, but at least I have Jung, Oprah Winfrey, Dostoevsky, Bob Dylan, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Gandhi for company…
6. I’ve edited the first 7,000 words of my second draft!
Dream time. Adios.

I just took the test – I’m an INFP, and the description of the qualities that go along with that is eerily correct.
I also just picked up the first Sookie Stackhouse book yesterday on your recommendation. I’m psyched to read it.
Love that collage – it’s beautiful and perfect! Congrats on 7,000 edited words!
Thanks, Allie! I hope you like Sookie:) I’ll have to read the INFP description!
